Hi Everyone,

I wanted to thank all of you for your generous gift and words of well wishes for my retirement.  This past year has been a challenging one for me, so being remembered by the Class of '73 at my Retirement Mass at St. Luke meant a lot to me.

I wish you all good health and happiness always.
I feel blessed to have had my first class from St. John of the Cross touch my life again.

Take care,

Fondly,
Maureen (Malloy) Greene

I just wanted to tell all of the students of the 1973 class that I enjoyed looking at the website and seeing where many of you have traveled throughout your life during the last 40 years.  Is it really 40 years??!

Joe Steindl had visited me at St. Luke the Evangelist where I presently teach.  I am in the third grade now, and have been for the last 16 years.  Fourth grade is still one of my favorites.

It was great reading the stories on many of you and seeing the wonderful pictures.  It looks as though your reunion a few years ago was a huge success!  Joe had told me what a
nice time everyone had!

I am currently teaching Sue Johnston's (McLaughlin) son.  Hard to believe that I had his mom so many years ago.

I am married to George Greene and have 3 married daughters and 3 grandsons with 2 babies on the way.  From some of your own biographies, I see many of you also have children and grandchildren, also!

I appreciate so much that Joe contacted me.  It was great talking to him and learning where his life has taken him.  I loved his wedding picture on the website.

It's terrific that I am able to contribute a little to the website.

Fondly,
Maureen Greene (Miss Malloy)

Everyone: Thank you for coming on Saturday. It was a vacation of the heart to see everyone again. I think just about everyone asked me when we were going to do this again. Well, with the help of email and this website we can plan things with a great deal more organization and speed. So keep checking this site for the next event. We are a genuine credit to the nuns and teachers who taught us and took the time to care about us. I hope we can all stay in contact with one another until the next event. My best to everyone. Redmond

I just heard Rodney is coming to the reunion. If that doesn't get Mike Cannon there, nothing will. We were all very lucky to grow up in such a nice place as Roslyn and in such a great environment as St. John's. Frank -- thanks so much for reminding us. You have done an incredible job with this website and planning the reunion. I'm looking forward to it!

Greetings to you all. Wow, what memories. Never did get to teach your class but got to know some of you from various activities. Anyone know if any of the other grades are doing something similar? Would love to find out. This is a great job. By the way, I am now call Father Martin. I am a Capuchin Franciscan and stationed in Tampa, FL. Anyone living in Florida? God bless!

Mrs. Paris took my keys away from me after we stuffed them into a pair of winter gloves to make a better football in the schoolyard. If anyone finds them, please let me know.
